Here's a quick update on what I'm working on now (as of December 2020)...
Bounty Hunter series
I have six novels planned for the current story arc, which leaves two more novels to write, tentatively planned for 2021 releases.
Flight of the Javelin series
I was originally planning six novels, but it looks like I'll wrap up the story arc in four, though the fourth novel will be a bit hefty. I have the outline done, and expect to start writing on it any day now.
Space Troopers (tentative title)
I'm writing a space adventure trilogy with the uber-awesome Jamie McFarlane. We've signed with Aethon Books for the trilogy, and we're about 90k words into book 1 and moving forward with it at a pace of 10+k words per week.
Archon series
I have a brand new post-apocalyptic series planned for 2021 as well. It has some pretty horrific monsters in it--a lot meaner and deadlier than the zombies in the Deadland Saga! I'll be writing this while also working on Space Junk.
Space Junk
I have an idea for an epic novel (or a trilogy, more likely--I'll know after I finish outlining it) about a space junker who gets embroiled in an interstellar rebellion. I'm about midway through the outline and will be starting on it as soon as Jamie and I wrap up the first draft of Space Troopers.
Judge Mental (Wattpad)
Poor Judge has been sitting on a back burner for too long. I'll add at least one more chapter this year, and I hope to complete the full first season (~10 chapters) within the next few months.
Other Stuff
I'm working on a couple of shorter stories for anthologies that you'll see coming out in 2021. One is "Parallax" for Chris Kennedy's next anthology. I'm dabbling with this short story whenever I find time.
I have the rights back on the very first stuff I published, so I plan to polish and re-release Knightfall and Hellbound in 2021. I just have to decide how deep I want to go with rewriting the old stuff, which had romantic angles. Right now, I have to admit, the motivation is pretty low.
