Questions to discuss after Fringe Runner or after reading the series… 

1. Fringe Runner hosts a rich cast of characters, from the paraplegic Throttle to the forceful Vym Patel. Who’s your favorite character and why?
2. The fringe colonists face a lot of discrimination from the citizens and CUF officers who don’t believe they should be granted citizenship because they weren’t born on a citizen world. Do you think this type of discrimination is realistic for the future? Or, do you think future societies will overcome the types of discriminations we still face today? 
3. Reyne and Critch are very different in their personalities, scruples, and beliefs; yet they share some similarities that enabled them to be a powerful leadership team. What do you think they have in common?
4. If you were making a Fringe movie, which actors would you cast?
5. If you could read this story from another character’s point of view, which one would you choose?

1. Do you believe it was better for the overall Collective for the colonies to have become independent, or should the colonies and citizen worlds have worked harder at building a more unified Collective?
2. Throttle and the colonists took a great risk to venture into the unknown. Would you go on a colonization ship? Why or why not?
